MLB’s best home run hitter first name is Kyle image

It's a good time to be named Kyle and playing in Major League Baseball.

In one of the more fun stats you'll see this season, there are four MLB players with the first name Kyle who have double-digit home runs this season.

They are:

  • Kyle Schwarber, Phillies
  • Kyle Tucker, Cubs
  • Kyle Stowers, Marlins
  • Kyle Manzardo, Guardians

The Marquee Sports Network broadcast of the Cubs shared the stat midway through their Monday game between the Cubs and Marlins, since it featured both Tucker and Stowers.

There isn't another first name with two double-digit home run hitters.

Here's the list of all the first names who have also hit double-digit homers from just one guy:

  • Aaron (Judge)
  • Alex (Bregman)
  • Brent (Rooker)
  • Byron (Buxton)
  • Cal (Raleigh)
  • Corbin (Carroll)
  • Danbsy (Swanson)
  • Eugenio (Suarez)
  • Fernando (Tatis Jr.)
  • James (Wood)
  • Jorge (Polanco)
  • Logan (O'Hoppe)
  • Pete (Alonso)
  • Riley (Greene)
  • Seiya (Suzuki)
  • Shohei (Ohtani)
  • Spencer (Torkelson)
  • Taylor (Ward)
  • Trent (Grisham)
  • Tyler (Soderstrom)
  • Wilmer (Flores)
  • Wilyer (Abreu)

Shoutout to the Cubs broadcast for these lists. Baseball is fun, always.

And the next time you see a Kyle stepping in the box, look out.

Ironically, all four Kyles are left-handed hitters. Those right-field bleachers are getting plenty of souvenirs on their pulled homers.
