The Los Angeles Rams have one of the most dynamic offenses in the NFL that can kill you in both the run and the pass. Their top weapon in the passing game is third-year wide receiver Puka Nacua, who exploded onto the NFL scene as a rookie and has become one of the game's top pass-catchers - so much so, that Trevor Sikkema of PFF ranked him as the fifth-best receiver in the NFL.
"Nacua missed time in 2024 but still finished with the league’s highest receiving grade at 93.0, pushing his two-year total to nearly 3,000 receiving yards," Sikkema writes. "He’s neither the biggest nor the fastest, but few receivers are more difficult to cover."
Nacua has had an historic start to his career. He broke several rookie records in 2023, including receptions and yards. He also set the single-game catch record for a rookie in Week 2 of that season by catching 15 passes. He missed time in 2024, as Sikkema pointed out, but still hauled in 79 passes for 990 yards and three scores.
On top of Nacua, the Rams added Davante Adams to be even more dynamic in the passing game. Sikkema ranked the future Hall of Famer as the No. 16 receiver in the NFL.
"Adams posted his lowest receiving grade since 2016 with a 76.8 in 2024, a concerning trend as he enters his age-32 season. Still, his elite production over the past five years warrants some benefit of the doubt — especially now that he’ll be working with Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay."
The Rams will be one of the top offenses in football in 2025, and their star duo catching passes from another future Hall of Famer is a large reason why.
