Ayush Mhatre named captain as Vaibhav Suryavanshi makes the India U-19 squad
After a terrific domestic outing with Mumbai, Mhtare was picked by CSK midway into the season as an injury replacement for captain Ruturaj Gaikwad.
The young opener did not disappoint the recruiters as he has scored 206 runs in just six matches at an average of 34.33 and strike rate of 187.27. He nearly missed out ona century as his highest score stands at 94.
Suryavanshi too had a dream debut season. The youngest player in IPL's history, Suryavanshi smashed multiple record this year as he scored a century against Gujarat Titans.
