Brandon Lowe and Josh Lowe aren't related, but they're two big-time left-handed hitters that both play for the Tampa Bay Rays.
On Wednesday, they accomplished something that had only been done once before in MLB history.
The feat: Back-to-back home runs by left-handed batters with the same last name.
According to OptaStats, the only time this had happened before had been done by Ken Griffey Jr. and Ken Griffey Sr.
The Lowe teammates aren't quite as cool a moment bas back-to-back homers by father son, but it's still pretty darn cool.

Ironically, Brandon and Josh's last names are pronounced differently.
Brandon's last name rhymes with "how," while Josh's last name rhymes with "low." And in typing that sentence, it occurs just how odd the English language is.
Regardless, a special moment for the Rays. These guys haven't often hit in consecutive spots in the lineup, so this was a particularly cool way to seize the opportunity.
Might as well leave them back-to-back now. There's some Lowe power at play.
