The Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl LIV loss to the Philadelphia Eagles was a stunner because the Chiefs failed to score a single point in the first half.
Kansas City's offense couldn't get going, and some of that was due to the lack of healthy playmakers.
The Chiefs lost receiver Rashee Rice to a season-ending injury early in the season, and the offense was missing him heavily against the Eagles.
Rice should be back to start the upcoming season, but the Chiefs could use another playmaker just in case another injury happens. Enzo Flojo from ClutchPoints thinks the team should trade for Baltimore Ravens receiver Rashod Bateman.
"Rashod Bateman is a more budget-friendly option who still packs game-changing upside," Flojo wrote. "Bateman, 25, turned a corner last year in Baltimore with 45 catches for 756 yards and nine touchdowns. He averaged a blistering 16.8 yards per reception. He also showed improved chemistry with Lamar Jackson and made a living stretching the field and winning after the catch. His two-year, $12.9 million contract fits neatly within Kansas City’s $12.7 million cap space. That makes this a rare move that requires no creative accounting."

Bateman has recorded 1,923 receiving yards in four seasons with the Ravens and nine scores.
It will be hard for the Chiefs to trade for Bateman since he's on a team that is also trying to win the Super Bowl, and the Ravens probably don't want to trade one of their players to a team they could see in the playoffs.
