WWE's NXT brand continues to showcase the future of pro wrestling. Several top-tier talent, from champions to contenders, look to prove they are meant to last when NXT heads to the Yuengling Center in Tampa on May 25 for Battleground.
Battleground, similar to the former "Takeover" events, will be a collaboration between NXT and TNA Wrestling.
At 25, Myles Borne has already become a fan favorite. The former amateur wrestler, who is partially deaf, has made waves as a member of the No Quarter Catch Crew. He recently won a battle royal and is ready to prove he's the real deal when he challenges Oba Femi for the NXT Championship.
TNA World Champion Joe Hendry has taken over WWE programming. He even inserted himself in Trick Williams' business after Williams challenged Femi for the NXT Title. Williams took exception to that, and both have made a statement at the other's expense, whether in an NXT or TNA ring.

Speaking of TNA, former Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace won a match against Giulia for the right to face Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women's Championship. It is a matchup between two of the top female wrestlers today.
Meanwhile, Sol Ruca defends the NXT Women's North American Championship against Kelani Jordan. Outside of title matches, The D'Angelo Family explode when Tony D'Angelo faces Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo. Finally, Hank and Tank team with Josh Briggs to take on The Culling.

The latest NXT Battleground event is in the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. The home of the University of South Florida's basketball programs can hold up to 10,500 people.
