Christopher Bell and Brad Keslowski will have new spotters this weekend for the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Matt Philpott will take over atop the tower for Stevie Reeves for the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 20 team and Todd Brewer will join the No. 6 RFK Racing team. The change for the No. 20 is permanent while the No. 6 is temporary with usual spotter TJ Majors set to undergo a medical procedure this week.

Majors addressed the upcoming absence this week on the Dale Jr. Download podcast.

"I missed Darlington," Majors said. "I've got a little procedure coming up this week, and I'll be out for probably about a month."

This is an ongoing ordeal but Majors did not publicly divulge the details.

"Hopefully, I'll be back for good after that and not have to worry about it anymore."

Philpott has spotted for various teams this season in both the Craftsman Truck Series and Xfinity Series in addition to working with Martin Truex Jr. in the Daytona 500 at Tricon Garage.
